We are looking for professionals who are passionate about supporting the delivery of an exceptional occupational health service to our client, and available to join us on a part-time basis, working on-site. This is a great opportunity for a qualified individual to expand their skillset and experience in a supportive team environment, in a great location only a stone's throw away from the beautiful, renowned Lake District. This role is part time, where the successful candidate will be working 22.5 hours per week. We can offer flexibility around which weekdays you work, between Monday to Thursday. What you'll be doing: • Providing accurate clinical assessment, diagnosis, and treatment • Classifying presenting clinical musculoskeletal disorders into work relatedness categories • Providing reports to Management following assessment and at time of discharge indicating employee’s fitness to work and any adjustments to their role that may be required short term, long term or permanently • Leading onsite exercise classes to rehabilitate employees with musculoskeletal injuries • Communicating effectively with the wider occupational health team • Conducting DSE assessments and providing prophylactic advice • Providing recommendations to the client as to what changes/equipment are required following a DSE assessment • Identification of hazards within the workplace and assessing the risk of the identified hazards causing or aggravating an individual’s musculoskeletal ill health • Conducting ergonomic risk assessments with Safety Health & Environment advisors on-site to identify risks to the employees within a specified area • Providing the wider OH team with information regarding any work practice or working environment changes that are required on a short or long-term basis • Effective rehabilitation of staff with musculoskeletal disorders, whether they be work related or not • Completing comprehensive assessment and treatment records • Collection of statistical information for report generation contribute/run health promotion events.SkillsCompleting comprehensive assessmentsConducting ergonomic assessmentsConducting face-to-face assessmentsConducting workstation and workplace assessmentsDSE AssessmentsDelivering WorkshopsHealth PromotionReport writingKnowledge of musculoskeletal (MSK) conditions/injuries and treatmentRisk AssessmentsAbility to work remotelyIT skillsPatient confidentialityUnderstanding of General Data Protection Regulation LawWorking in a multidisciplinary teamEducation & QualificationsBachelors Degree in PhysiotherapyMasters DegreeSalary The salary range on offer for this role is between £34,000 to £42,000 pro-rata to days worked, depending on experience and qualifications.
