The day-to-day responsibilities of your new role will start with loading your vehicle with the help of our warehouse team and then heading out with orders to customer premises. The ideal candidate must be someone who is able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment where they must not be afraid to dive into the daily challenges of working on the road and be able to take the initiative to keep both customers and your colleagues informed of any delivery issues.
Reality Check:
Due to the nature of the work, this role is physically demanding, and manual handling is required. It is therefore imperative that the successful applicant be physically fit and prepared to undertake manual handling on a regular basis.
Skills & Experience:
1. Be a confident driver with a can-do attitude
2. Have a valid UK driving license with less than 6 points
3. Ability to take instruction and meet deadlines
4. Work well under pressure
5. Multi drop experience is desirable but is not essential
Hours of work: 7:30 am to 5 pm Monday to Friday (1 day off a month on a rota). Occasional working on a Saturday morning from 8 am - 12 noon may be required.
