Responsibilities: As a Registered Nurse, your key responsibilities will include: Delivering high-quality nursing care to residents, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being. Administering medications, monitoring residents’ health conditions, and providing regular updates to the care team and families. Developing and updating individual care plans for residents based on their changing needs. Supervising and mentoring care assistants and junior staff members. Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations, maintaining high standards of hygiene, and following health and safety protocols. Providing end-of-life care with dignity and compassion when required. Assisting with the training and development of new staff. However, overtime enhancement will not feature on your contract of employment and can be withdrawn at any time as managers decision is final. What are we looking for? At Sandstone, we value hard work, compassion, and enthusiasm. We are looking for a Registered General Nurse or RMN who: Is passionate about delivering high standards of care in a nursing home setting. Has excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team. Is dedicated to providing person-centred care and maintaining a supportive environment for residents and their families. Has a proactive attitude to problem-solving and is capable of making decisions under pressure. Holds a valid NMC registration and has experience in delivering care to elderly residents, including those with complex health needs. Previous experience in a nursing home setting is beneficial but not essential.
