Description
This role is a 3 month interim opportunity (with potential to go permanent) to join an HR team that services a multi-site Public Sector operation. This role is project-focused, working alongside the People Director and IT Director to establish the foundations of a shared service centre for the first time in the organisation. This is not an operational shared service opportunity, but a chance to project manage and oversee the establishment of this new operation.
The HR Shared Services Team will act as the first point of contact, responsible for providing advice and guidance, and signposting to the appropriate place in the case of more complex matters. This team processes all transactional HR matters, including: recruitment, contracts management, HRIS maintenance, performance review cycles, training records, and payroll.
Profile
This role requires an experienced Shared Services Manager who has ideally set up and implemented a new shared service operation, preferably in a Public Sector environment. Candidates must be available ASAP and able to work in Northwich.
Job Offer
A competitive salary ranging from £39,000 to £45,000 per annum (Fixed Term Contract of 3 months), a comprehensive benefits package, and the role has the potential to become permanent. The role will be mostly site-based in Northwich, with some opportunity to work from home depending on project requirements.
