Job Description
As a member of the B2B team, you will help articulate strategic priorities and define value propositions to collaboratively drive growth in line with our business objectives. You will have exceptional working relationships with internal and external stakeholders and will constantly look to redefine, adapt, and improve all our B2B propositions with clearly defined marketing strategies.
You will be responsible for understanding target customer needs and market developments, along with developing appropriate product propositions and services to meet client needs and deliver sustainable growth.
You will also analyze our proposition performance, always looking for room for improvement and spotting changes to optimize commercial performance and go-to-market approach.
Key Responsibilities
* Define client & business needs through: assessment of current propositions incrementality and performance; maintaining a deep understanding of relevant socio-economic trends and the market; analysis of client research and data; affinity partner insights; front-line feedback.
* Lead the creation of client-centric product and service innovations that support the B2B brand proposition, meet Halfords business needs, and deliver better commercial returns.
* Manage proposition development from cradle to grave – identifying opportunities, building business cases, and executing go-to-market plans.
* Support all aspects of business case creation for each new proposition and gain buy-in from appropriate forums for approval, funding, and change resource.
* Manage and deliver periodic performance reviews of propositions to ensure they meet business objectives, target customers’ needs, and fulfill regulatory requirements.
* Evaluate competitor activity and external market developments, communicating findings and recommendations to key stakeholders.
* Work with operations and key stakeholders to create and maintain controls to mitigate key risks, especially with existing client propositions.
* Support the delivery and implementation of marketing for Halfords For Business to optimize engagement, repeat business, and ongoing B2B2C loyalty across all propositions with clear go-to-market implementation plans.
* Seek new and better ways of working to constantly improve team productivity and efficiency.
* Work towards Halfords' wider company values.
