About the role:
We’re looking for a Relationship Manager who will be responsible for the management of team members and relationships with some of our household name motor and home insurance partners (including Aviva, Churchill, More Than, Admiral, Swinton, LV, Tesco, and Axa). The successful candidate will be passionate about building meaningful and productive relationships, with a strong appreciation of the needs of a customer, with emphasis on how our partners can add value to our proposition and help secure excellent customer service.
What you'll be doing
* Delivering commercial strategy and supporting the business in obtaining better commercial terms and cheaper prices for Confused.com customers.
* Understanding market trading conditions and developments in the industry (Regulatory and otherwise).
* Maximising existing revenue streams and opening new sources of income. Negotiation of commercial terms including acquisition costs, acceptable conversion metrics, and special offers/exclusive arrangements.
* Identifying business development opportunities by building relationships with external partner organisations.
* Meeting with partners to collaborate and deliver business objectives.
* Reviewing data with an ability to articulate findings and use it to inform decision making and to challenge partners in respect of poor performance.
* Agreement and maintenance of contractual terms. Negotiations can often be complex and may involve both internal and external legal representatives.
What we're looking for
* Strong relationship management background.
* Commercially astute.
* Strong understanding of the importance of analytics and how to interpret it.
* Demonstrable experience of working with and influencing senior stakeholders.
* Good knowledge of the insurance market, including home/van insurance.
