Requirements
What is required from you?
* A minimum of 12 months on your right to work.
* You must be at least 18 years old due to the nature of the role.
* Must be able to work a minimum of 2 weeks at a time.
* We are looking for applicants with a positive, professional and empathetic approach who are able to collaborate and problem solve.
Responsibilities
The role of a Live-in Care Assistant:
* Supporting your client in their own home seven days a week to remain as independent as possible.
* Assisting with medication, providing companionship, supporting with personal care such as bathing, dressing, and helping with domestic tasks such as cleaning and preparing meals.
* Companionship – providing support, companionship, communication and engagement.
* Personal care - supporting with a wash, bath or shower and supporting the client with dressing and oral care.
* Meals – supporting the client with healthy meals, snacks and beverages.
* Domestic tasks - light cleaning tasks.
* Mobility – supporting the client to live as independently as possible.
* Social activities - trips out, social engagements and activities.
Additional information to note:
* Live-in care placements can vary in duration but are a minimum of 2 weeks.
* Accommodation and food allowance will be provided.
* Very flexible! You can work only a few weeks a year, regular patterns of work or for long and established periods in placement – the choice is yours.
* You will have your own separate room and have access to WIFI.
