It can be quite challenging at times, but the rewards of seeing our residents improve and develop from the support we provide is amazing As Team Leader, you will be supporting our service users whilst working closely with your team of Support Workers to ensure they are providing the necessary support to our residents as part of their rehabilitation. Previous experience of working with vulnerable adults with learning disabilities or a mental health illness will be beneficial for this position. As part of this role you will work closely with a variety of colleagues and support staff to prioritise outcome-focused support to our customers. Ensuring that our service users are at the heart of everything we do. Support service users whilst taking of prescribed medication. Supervise support workers in the delivery and support to our service users. Be flexible to provide support in out of hours should the service requires this Working positively and collaboratively with other colleagues within the team Support your own staff team to maintain effective professional relationships with service users, their families, colleagues, and other key stakeholders Work within and implement our policy and procedure, including confidentiality and safeguarding. Escalate as appropriate any concerns or issues in a timely manner. Ensure service user records are maintained and kept up to date whilst reporting in a factual and ‘person centred’ approach. Ideally, you will have gained previous experience and have a good understanding of mental health rehabilitation or have gained your level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care.
