Description
Develop and implement H&S policies and programs.
Advise and instruct on various safety-related topics.
Conduct risk assessment and enforce preventative measures.
Review existing policies and measures and update according to legislation.
Initiate and organise H&S training of employees and executives.
Inspect equipment and machinery to observe possible unsafe conditions.
Investigate accidents or incidents to discover causes and handle worker's compensation claims.
Prepare reports on occurrences and provide statistical information to upper management.Profile
Proven experience as a H&S Officer or similar role.
Excellent knowledge of data analysis and risk assessment.
Proficiency in MS Office and working knowledge of SHEQ MS and databases.
Excellent organisational and motivational skills.
Outstanding attention to detail and observation ability.
