HR Generalist - FMCG Company - North Antrim MCS Group is thrilled to be partnering with a fantastic FMCG company based in the North Antrim area, that currently require an experienced HR Officer on a full-time permanent basis. This role will cover all HR functions, ideally suiting someone with strong recruitment and payroll skills, looking to gain further HR experience. The Role As an HR Generalist, you'll work directly with the Head of HR and key stakeholders to deliver impactful HR services in a fast-paced, people-focused business. Key Responsibilities: Provide expert advice and guidance across various HR areas, including: Performance Management: Support managers in driving performance and resolving challenges effectively. Absence Management: Monitor long-term and short-term absence trends, coaching line managers to find sustainable resolutions and reduce absenteeism across the organisation. Employee Relations: Manage employee relations cases, including disciplinary and grievance procedures, while ensuring compliance with relevant legislation. Recruitment: Support hiring processes to attract top talent and enhance workforce quality. Audits: Represent the organisation during audits, ensuring policies and practices meet compliance standards. Collaborate with senior management and employees at all levels to foster an inclusive and engaging workplace culture. Contribute to key strategic projects, including change management initiatives, in alignment with the company's long-term objectives. Leverage data to inform HR decisions and create measurable improvements that enhance organisational performance. The successful candidate To excel in this role, you will need to bring a strong mix of HR expertise, communication skills, and commercial awareness. 2 years of experience at HR Officer or HR Advisor level. HR degree or relevant qualification. Strong expertise in employee relations with a sound understanding of Northern Ireland legislation. Full UK driving license. Competence in using Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent presentation skills and confidence in delivering training or updates to stakeholders. Manufacturing or Retail experience would be desirable What's on offer?
