Location of the Mechanical Engineer position: Elland The Mechanical Engineer position would suit people who are looking for a career change but at the same time utilise your skillset in a different setting. The company are a HGV modification company that is a market leader in what they do. As the company continue to grow they are looking to invest and train somebody to become a fully skilled HGV Crane Technician. The role compromises various crane-related tasks from helping with the initial vehicle build to the safe set-up and final crane tests. Finalised by the handover and delivering the customer training of the equipment to ensure the customer leaves with a superior and safe knowledge of crane operation. The Mechanical Engineer would suit people who may be qualified in HGV mechanics, electrical, engineering or hydraulic equipment. This position would be a customer facing, so customer service skills are important as well as an understanding of health and safety requirements in a testing and handover situation.
