We are currently seeking a Early Years SEND Practitioner to join our Children’s Services team You will be located at Cleveland Unit Assessment Nursery working Monday to Friday in line with Middlesbrough school term dates. We are looking for an experienced early year’s practitioner who wishes to develop their knowledge, skills and practice in the care and teaching of children with complex special educational needs and disabilities. You will be supporting children with SEND in mainstream settings across Middlesbrough. The successful candidates will need to demonstrate the following: A good understanding of child development & the EYFS. A good understanding of ordinarily available provision strategies to meet children’s needs. The ability to work effectively in multi-disciplinary teams. Flexibility, positive energy & resilience. A passion for making a difference to children with special educational needs/disabilities and a desire to support them and their families. The role involves travel between various early years’ settings therefore a car and driving licence is essential for this role.
