About the Role:
As Head of Service, you will be responsible for the overall leadership and management of two dual-registered EBD homes, ensuring they provide high-quality, trauma-informed care to children and young people. You will work closely with the specialist education setting to create a holistic support system that promotes stability, education, and personal growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership & Service Development:
Oversee the operational and strategic management of two EBD homes.
Ensure homes run effectively, meeting Ofsted standards and providing exceptional care.
Work collaboratively with the specialist education team to create a joined-up approach to learning and care.
People & Team Management:
Lead, mentor, and develop Registered Managers and residential teams.
Foster a positive, high-performing culture that prioritises the well-being of both young people and staff.
Support the recruitment, training, and professional development of team members.
Quality Assurance & Compliance:
Ensure both homes maintain Good or Outstanding Ofsted ratings.
Implement best practices in safeguarding, compliance, and trauma-informed care.
Conduct audits, reviews, and quality assessments to drive continuous improvement.
Growth & Career Progression:

Requirements:
Proven experience as a Registered Manager in an EBD residential setting.
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management (or willingness to work towards it).
Strong understanding of Ofsted regulations, safeguarding, and trauma-informed care.
Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
Ambition to progress into higher-level leadership roles within the organisation.
