Senior Bladder and Bowel Service Administrator
Provide clerical/typing and administration support for the continence service.
Manage a small team of administration staff to include appraisals and supervision, providing training in aspects of the service when and where necessary.
Carry out the role of 'clinical, systems and technologies super user'.
Provide administrative support to specialist clinicians.
Proactively manage continence service databases, ensuring accurate records, financial balance and ensure good communication with contracted providers.
Deal with sensitive and confidential information provided by service users in a professional manner with empathy and understanding.
Excellent communication skills to include telephone and email queries.
Provide liaison between professionals and service users by receiving and providing accurate information and maintaining patient confidentiality in accordance with GDPR.
Obtain detailed product-related knowledge to inform patients, carers, and other professionals.

Person Specification
Education/Qualification
* ECDL (European Computer Driving Licence)/computer software qualification or equivalent knowledge and experience of using a variety of software programmes/packages.
Previous Experience
* Previous knowledge and experience of working in a busy office and/or customer care environment, undertaking a full range of administrative duties and supervising the work of others.
* Understanding of medical terminology.

* Good interpersonal, communication and reporting skills.
* Ability to empathise, be supportive and sensitive to the needs of others.
* Ability to use a practical problem-solving approach in everyday situations.
* Good IT skills, with an ability to navigate around various systems and software.
