Job summary
1. Kingston Neonatal Unit is committed to the development of all nurses, through education.
2. The Neonatal Unit is recruiting band 5 nurses who wish to have a career in neonatal nursing.
3. The applicant can be newly qualified or with experience or looking for a change in career direction.
4. There are two WTE equivalent positions, part time will be considered.
Main duties of the job
5. The successful applicant will work as part of a team of nurses caring for preterm and sick infants.
6. The Unit is a Local Neonatal Unit with two intensive care beds, four high dependency and 12 special care.
7. The successful applicant will be supported in caring for infants in all areas with access to specialist qualifications.
8. The shifts are hours covering days and nights, seven days per week.
9. The successful applicant will have a passion for working with families to care for infants, support with breastfeeding and follow and our family integrated care model.
