We have an exciting opportunity for a Design Coordinator in the Midlands. This position is working for a main building contractor who operates across the Midland's region. This opportunity will see you working on projects ranging in value from 2m - 15m in the Public and Private Sectors. The contractor has a strong pipeline of work over the next couple of years and has a good track record of producing high-quality projects. They are also growing well and looking to expand their team, meaning there is scope for progression into a Design Manager role.

The Design Coordinator Role:
* Ensuring drawings, specifications, and deliverables for the design are produced on time, to a high quality.
* Supporting the design process using technical expertise; programming design works and monitoring compliance.
* Striving to eliminate health and safety risks in the design and financial risks during construction.
* Maintaining thorough documentation of the design process.
* Working with the site teams to help produce a quality project.
* Overseeing BREEAM documentation.
The Successful Design Coordinator will have:
* A minimum of a basic technical understanding of building.
* Full UK driver's license.
* Experience with BREEAM and other building compliance documentation.
Salary dependent on experience: up to 50,000.00 p/a + car allowance.
