Architect - Healthcare Specialist & Job Runner\n Reference: KDMAN81989\n Location: Manchester\n Salary: £45-55,000 DOE\n\nA respected and long-established architectural practice is seeking a talented Architect with strong healthcare sector experience to join its Manchester studio. With a legacy spanning over 25 years and a team of around 80 professionals, this award-winning practice is known for delivering large-scale, high-quality projects across healthcare, education, residential, and commercial sectors.\n\nBenefits:\n\nCompetitive salary of £40-50,000 per annum (dependent on experience)\nJoin a dynamic, collaborative studio with a reputation for design and delivery excellence\nWork on complex, large-scale healthcare projects from inception to completion\nSupportive environment offering structured career progression and CPD opportunities\nRegular team events and a healthy work-life balanceDaily Duties:\n\nLead large-scale healthcare projects through all RIBA stages\nOversee and manage internal teams and external consultants\nCoordinate client presentations, design development, and technical delivery\nProduce and review detailed technical drawings and specifications in Revit (essential)\nMonitor site progress, resolve technical issues, and uphold design quality\nEnsure compliance with UK building regulations and healthcare-specific standards\nTake full responsibility for project delivery, budget oversight, and team leadershipIdeal Candidate:\n\nFully qualified Architect (ARB registered) with significant post-qualification experience\nSubstantial experience leading large-scale healthcare projects\nStrong Revit skills and confident working in a BIM environment\nDemonstrable experience running jobs independently from concept through delivery\nDeep understanding of UK building regulations and healthcare design guidelines (e.g. HBNs/HTMs)\nStrong leadership, communication, and client-facing skillsThis is an exciting opportunity for a confident Architect with a passion for healthcare design and proven experience delivering complex, high-value projects.
