We are looking for a multi-skilled maintenance engineer with either a mechanical or electrical bias to join our team of 4 in maintenance at our manufacturing facility in Banbury. We are a manufacturer of high-quality household products.
As a business, we have a turnover well in excess of £50m and have heavily invested this back into our engineering team with extensive internal and external training available. We have 4 engineers currently who all have a good length of service with the business. This role is perfect for someone who shares a long-term vision for their career.
Your roles and responsibilities will include day-to-day planned and reactive maintenance of mainly injection moulding machinery (Engel). We have 19 moulding machines on site, most of which are new machines ranging between 150t – 2300t.
The Successful Engineer
* Prior experience as a multi-skilled engineer within a manufacturing environment is essential for this role.
* Experience repairing and maintaining injection moulding machines is preferable, though engineers with a strong knowledge of hydraulics/pneumatics are also encouraged to apply.
* Fundamental understanding of electrical fault finding, ideally up to PLC.
