Position Overview: We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Care Home Manager to oversee our dementia care facility. The Care Home Manager will be responsible for ensuring the well-being and safety of residents living with dementia and providing leadership to a team of care staff. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of dementia care and will be committed to creating a supportive and enriching environment for residents. Key Responsibilities: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the care home, ensuring that high-quality dementia care is provided. Recruit, train, and supervise a team of staff, providing ongoing support and guidance. Develop and implement personalized care plans for residents living with dementia, in collaboration with families and healthcare professionals. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, and maintain accurate records and documentation. Act as an advocate for residents, ensuring their voices are heard and their individual needs are met. Qualifications and Requirements: Proven experience in a management role within a dementia care setting. Strong understanding of dementia and its impact on individuals, as well as knowledge of best practices in dementia care. Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team. A compassionate and patient-centered approach to care, with a commitment to promoting the dignity and well-being of residents. Relevant qualifications in health or social care management are required. A Level 5 or working towards a Level 5. An understanding of CQC Regulations.
