Nursery Assistant Job Summary:
Support young children's early learning and development in a safe, nurturing environment, promoting their physical, emotional, social, and intellectual growth.
About the Role:
Randstad Education is seeking caring and enthusiastic Nursery Assistants to work within our partner nurseries and schools across Eastbourne.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support day-to-day activities in the nursery, including play, learning, and meal times.
* Assist in planning and delivering activities promoting children's development.
* Ensure children's health, safety, and well-being.
* Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging confidence and independence.
* Work collaboratively with nursery staff and teachers to maintain a supportive environment.
* Assist with nursery preparation and tidying, ensuring a clean and organized space.
* Observe and monitor children's progress, contributing to records and reports.
* Communicate effectively with parents and carers, providing updates on their child's development and well-being.
Requirements:
* Experience working with young children in a nursery or early years setting is highly desirable.
* A caring, patient, and nurturing approach to supporting children's development.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
* An understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework is advantageous.
* Relevant childcare qualifications are beneficial but not essential.
* A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
