The role As a Senior Risk Manager, you will be working on SZC, where you will develop the skills and core nuclear understanding to be successful in the New Nuclear industry. Your duties and responsibilities will be Leadership capabilities motivational skills, delegation, team management and team membership, as well as strong collaboration and peer-to-peer relationship-building skills. Role will involve leading small approx. 5-person team. You will be able to independently facilitate complex/ important workshops for all levels within programme. Linked capability to integrate/ support breadth of project controls/ project delivery/ business support processes (e.g. Finance). You will independently engage teams of Range of project and corporate professionals. You will have the following skills and experience Technical skills able to independently deliver large/ complex QRAs, spanning Cost QRAs, Schedule QRAs, and Integrated QRAs. Membership of one or more risk or project management organisation e.g. APM, PMI, IRM, CERA or a suitable equivalent. Understanding of scheduling methodologies in project/programme management, including hands on experience of the leading software packages (Oracle P6/Microsoft Project or similar planning tools). Being comfortable with quantitative analysis and advanced forecasting i.e. Monte-Carlo methods, probabilistic forecasting, and optimisation. Experience of developing large data models (QSRA/QCRA etc) and their integration into decision making processes. Understanding of Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) frameworks and standards. The setting for the role Risks and Hazards are in line with working on a nuclear licenced site. These can include, nuclear fuel, radiation, chemicals and gasses, high voltage equipment, moving vehicles, flammable materials, high pressure circuits, steam, high noise and vibration levels.
