Job Title: Aerospace/Controls Engineer
Drones pose a significant threat, with over 5,000 Ukrainians killed or injured per month. Our mission is to counter this menace.
We develop hand-launched missiles to neutralize short-range air threats. These micro-missiles are compact, affordable, and suitable for all ground units, making them the smallest and most cost-effective guided missiles ever deployed.
Our goal: Provide a proven solution to drone threats and contribute to turning the tide of war in Ukraine.
We're seeking an experienced Aerospace/Controls Engineer to join our founding team. You will design, develop, and test algorithms for our counter-UAS mini-missiles, working on software-in-loop (SWIL), hardware-in-loop (HWIL), and aerodynamic design.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and refine control algorithms for missile guidance.
* Contribute to aerodynamic design and optimization of fins and body.
* Integrate and tune servos, sensors, and the flight controller.
* Test and validate systems using SWIL and HWIL simulations and real-world trials.
Required Qualifications:
* Hands-on experience developing control algorithms, preferably for missiles, UAVs, or other airborne systems.
* Proficiency in control theory, aerodynamics, trajectory optimization, and real-time systems.
* System-level thinker with the ability to meet tight constraints.
* Citizen of a NATO country or Ukraine.
* Willingness to work from the UK.
* High sense of urgency and adaptability in fast-paced environments.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Electrical engineering or computer vision experience.
* Willing to work in safe areas of Ukraine.
* Passion for Ukraine's defense.
* Experience in startups or rapid R&D.
* Interest in rocketry or missile systems.
