Production & Material Controller required for our Manufacturing client based in Sheffield.\n\nProduction & Material Controller Benefits:\n\nSalary: 28-35k DOE\nLocation: Sheffield, S9 - full time office based\nHours: 8am to 5pm\nContract: Permanent\nOnsite parking availableProduction & Material Controller Key Responsibilities:\n\nAs a Production & Material Controller, your main responsibility will be scheduling materials according to customer requirements and generating production orders. You will play a crucial role in liaising with both customers and suppliers to ensure smooth operations.\n\nProduction & Material Controller Key Duties Include:\n\nCoordinating the scheduling of materials based on customer needs.\nGenerating and managing production orders.\nCommunicating effectively with customers and suppliers to address any issues or delays.\nMonitoring inventory levels and stock audits.\nWorking closely with Production teams to ensure material needs are met according to production schedules.\nDemonstrating a hands-on approach and providing solutions to problems as they arise.\nAddress any issues with supply chain delays, material shortages or production disruptions.Production & Material Controller Criteria:\n\nHave previous experience in in a similar role - essential.\nHave previous experience in timber manufacturing or a related field (highly advantageous).\nPossess excellent communication and problem-solving skills.\nDemonstrate strong planning, organisational, and administrative abilities.\nBe self-motivated with a clear focus and drive, contributing positively to the business.\nExcellent IT skills, particularly for scheduling and administrative tasks
