About this opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Programme Management Office to help improve services for residents through the Westmorland and Furness Council’s Change Programme. You will work with colleagues across the council to plan, co-ordinate and monitor the design and implementation of the required change, taking an efficient and customer-focused approach in your work.
Who we are looking for…
We are looking for a Project Support Officer with experience of providing business support, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to work in sensitive environments. You should have knowledge of change management and project management methodology. Abilities to work on your own initiative, collect and analyse data, and work with a range of software tools are key to this role. The successful candidate will have good organisational skills and be able to prioritise their workload as part of the wider team.
