Outline of Role
You will be required to work closely with the HR Generalist as well as building good working relationships with colleagues across the Sigma group and external consultants.
The main duties are to assist the HR Generalist by dealing efficiently with every aspect of HR administration.
The ability to be flexible and adapt to any task is essential. As is the skill of working on your own initiative.
Main Responsibilities
Recruitment & Onboarding
1. Coordinate job postings
2. Support communications with Managers regarding candidates.
3. Prepare employment contracts and offer letters and check digital right to work completion.
HR Compliance & Documentation
1. Ensure HR processes comply with labour laws and company policies
2. Assist in audits by providing required documentation
3. Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee information.
Benefits Support
1. Provide necessary data to payroll for processing
2. Support employee queries to benefits, and deductions
3. Manage benefits administration - upload new starters, leavers and any updates required.
Day-to-Day HR Operations
1. Support the administration for the full employee life cycle.
2. Assist in organising HR events, trainings, and wellbeing activities
3. Support performance management review cycles
4. Handle employee queries or direct them to the right HR team member.
HR Systems & Reporting
1. Manage employee life cycle changes within the system - adding starters and leavers and processing employee changes.
2. Ensure data accuracy in HR systems, Employment Hero, Talos.
Knowledge/experience Required
1. Previous experience of administration
2. Knowledge and understanding of GDPR at foundation level
3. Great listening skills
4. Desire to be proactive and create a positive experience for others.
5. Strong organisational and planning skills.
6. Computer literacy - Microsoft Word/Excel/Office 365
7. Competent picking up new systems
8. Desire to understand processes and work to improve them where possible.
9. At least 1 year of experience in HR administration or a similar role.
10. Ability to manage time and workload effectively.
11. Strong organisational and multitasking skills with exceptional attention to detail.
12. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to build and maintain professional relationships.
13. Proactive, adaptable, and able to handle varied responsibilities efficiently.
14. Solid understanding of confidentiality and regulatory compliance requirements.
