We are looking for an energetic and experienced new entrant teacher to join us for term 3 and term 4, 2025. There will be pre-entry visits in term 2, and it would be an advantage if the successful candidate could attend these.
An understanding of the unique needs of children when they first enter school is an important part of this position. You will have a proven ability to build strong and positive relationships with children as well as their whānau.
The ability to build a caring and supportive classroom environment that nurtures children as they transition to our school is key.
A commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi, which is reflected in your classroom practice, is important to us.
Experience in or a commitment to Structured Literacy will be an advantage.
