Job summary
Do you have the skills to support the HIV clinical team at Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham?
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full-time administrator/co-ordinator to support the Home Care Delivery Service of HIV prescriptions in a safe and efficient way. The role also includes booking of outpatient appointments daily using trust IT systems. Good communication skills are required as this role predominantly involves telephone calls with patients.
You will be working alongside medical, nursing, pharmacy, other administrative colleagues, courier companies, patients, and relatives.
You will have the opportunity to develop your administration skills in order to work autonomously. A thorough induction and training programme will be put in place.

Person specification
Qualifications
1. Good General Education (eg. GCSE English and Maths A-C) GCSE Level 9-4
2. Business Administration NVQ level 3 or equivalent experience in an administrative environment
Experience
1. Experience of dealing with the Public/Customer service experience
2. Experience of working with a range of Microsoft Office packages (eg. Word, Excel and Outlook)
3. Experience of using IT systems
4. Experience of working in a busy environment
5. Experience of working in Healthcare
