Position: Graduate Teaching Assistant
Location: Hounslow
Start Date: September 2024
Role Overview:
As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with classroom teachers to support the learning and progress of students. You will assist with classroom activities, provide one-on-one support to students, and contribute to creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Support classroom teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
2. Provide individualised support to students who may require additional assistance.
3. Assist with the preparation of learning materials and resources.
4. Foster positive relationships with students, parents/carers, and colleagues.
5. Contribute to maintaining a safe and stimulating learning environment.
Qualifications & Skills:
* Recent graduate with a degree in Education or related field.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* A passion for education and a commitment to student success.
* Ability to motivate and inspire students of all abilities.
* Commitment to continuing professional development.
* Previous experience working in a school or educational setting as a Teaching assistant is preferred but not essential.
* Passion for working with children and supporting their educational journey.
* Willingness to collaborate as part of a team and take direction from classroom teachers.
Requirements:
* The right to work in the UK.
* Willingness to obtain an Enhanced DBS.
* Strong organisational and time-management skills.

All pay rates quoted will include statutory holiday pay. This is a temporary position, with potential for future permanency.
