An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Admin Assistant in the Business Support Team, Environment and Transport. We are looking for someone who has a customer service background with excellent IT, communication and written skills.
About the Role
You will provide an efficient, effective and comprehensive administrative support service to the Department, supporting senior officers and managers with day to day business processes in the team.
About You
To apply for this post, you must have:
1. Good standard of education including English and Maths or be able to demonstrate experience identified within the bullet points below
2. Clerical experience in a range of tasks to include word processing, filing, photocopying, taking and relaying messages, data inputting/maintaining records
3. Arranging and serving meetings, note taking and producing minutes
4. Use Microsoft Office, including word, excel and outlook and/or another email/internet package
5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including telephone call handling.
6. Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise
7. Team working and the ability to build strong relationships including a willingness to be flexible, learn and undertake a variety of different tasks including good numeracy skills
You must also have an understanding of, and commitment to, equality, diversity and inclusion.
In addition, we also expect you to share and will ask you to evidence when you have demonstrated them as part of the selection process.
