Percival are excited to be working exclusively with The Hive Youth Zone to help them recruit for a new Events and Partnerships Coordinator to join a passionate and integrated fundraising team.
The Hive Youth Zone charity opened in 2017 as a state-of-the-art space dedicated to offering young people ages 8-19 and up to 25 with additional needs with exciting opportunities and experiences: from a range of sports activities in their sports hall to arts and crafts and rock climbing. Their mission is to make sure Wirral’s young people have somewhere safe to go, something positive to do and someone trusted to talk to.
This is a great opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to lead on the new events programme at The Hive to secure funding through both challenge events and corporate partnerships. Working within a small and mighty fundraising team, you will make a significant contribution to securing a legacy for thousands of local young people through the generation of new income.
Job Title: Events & Partnerships Coordinator
Report to: Philanthropy Manager
Salary: £30,000
Working Pattern: Full Time, Permanent
Location: Birkenhead, Wirral CH41 4EA.
You will be responsible for supporting The Hive’s strategy of diversifying fundraising income though events. This will include traditional events such their annual ball, as well as leading on fundraising initiatives involving schools, corporate partners, 3rd party events, and rolling out a restaurant fundraising campaign. The focus for the year ahead will be on the delivery of four key events scheduled across Birkenhead.
To be successful in this role, you will:
* Have experience in designing and delivering on a range of events
* Have previously worked to a range of financial and non financial KPIs
* Have a background in events management or fundraising events.
* Ideally have experience designing up a robust stewardship plan for corporate donors
* Be a strategic thinker with the ability to build long-standing partnerships with a range of stakeholders.
