Electrical Maintenance Engineer
Salary: £48,902 + Overtime
Type: Permanent, Full-time
Location: North Leeds
Shift: Permanent Nights - Sunday to Thursday 21:45 - 06:00, Sunday 22:45 - 6am (39hr week)
Holidays: 25 + 8 days Holiday
Compensation Package: £48,902 + OTE £50-52k + 5% Employer Pension + Overtime + Bespoke Training + Performance related bonus
The Company:
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a successful established leading manufacturer of high-end products supplying to the public sector. My client is currently seeking an Electrical Bias Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer based out of their main head office site in North Leeds. They are a leader in their sector and are currently undergoing projects within the engineering department and are now in need of more engineers than ever.
Day to Day Role for the Electrical Maintenance Engineer:
1. Corrective maintenance – working on equipment such as temperature control units, extruders, wrappers, and much more.
2. Carry out effective repairs to machinery and ensure minimal downtime is achieved.
3. Ensure all safety protocol is carried out correctly.
4. Report all safety issues to the line manager.
5. Maintain good service and support to ensure customer satisfaction.
Experience and Skills Required:
1. Qualified to NVQ Level 3 electrical or equivalent such as City and Guilds – time served.
2. Multi-skilled with at least 30% mechanical knowledge and experience.
3. Experience of working with high tolerance machinery/FMCG environment (desirable).
