Multi Trade Operative
Location: Site based covering Basingstoke and Swindon. Standard Hours Monday- Friday 39 hours plus out of hours on call.

Based on a Social Housing Tenanted property Responsive Repairs contract, your role will be varied, and customer focused, surrounded by like-minded teammates who work together to ensure an excellent service. To make your day more effective our central support team will plan your work to ensure customer needs are met whilst balancing your travel time. In this role, you’ll get to see the impact your skills have on the people and communities you work with every day; and all whilst working in a secure, inclusive, and caring environment.
The works will be Multi Trade with a strong bias towards Joinery ensuring properties are delivered to a liveable standard, the works will be supporting our responsive repairs team, meaning your days will be varied and interesting.

An outline of your responsibilities and experience
A Applications are welcome from experienced candidates that have a trade background, you must have Joinery experience. The works include the repairs of various doors, windows, kitchens, bathrooms and general handyman type duties to ensure functionality.
Working in tenanted properties on general maintenance works, including general alternative refurbishments.
Working from job tickets or a handheld device on a daily basis linked to a live shared system.
Trusted to manage your own day and workload effectively
Always delivering an outstanding service to customers with the understanding that you are working in their homes
Following Novus’ exemplary Health and Safety policies and standards
Full UK driving license is required.
The role will also require a DBS check to be completed
About You
Ideally you will possess a joinery qualification with the ability to work across multiple trades, although further training, including in Health and Safety will be given. What is equally as important is the ability to take responsibility to use your initiative to identify solutions and ensure tasks are completed in a timely manner, delivering customer satisfaction.
