QA Operator
Location: St Austell
Type: Temporary with the possibility of going permanent
Shifts: Rotating shifts - 4 Days 7am-7pm, 4 Days off, 4 Nights 7pm-7am
Starting hourly rate: Days £12.75, Nights £13.38 (upon completion of training), rising to £13.42 Days, £14.08 Nights.
Job Description:
QA Operator required for a busy, modern, friendly manufacturing company based in St Austell. As a QA Operator, you will contribute to the manufacturing business by supporting the general operation, packing, and inspection of all manufactured items produced in your designated area.
Main Duties:
1. Reporting of all HS&E incidents, unsafe acts, and near-miss incidents.
2. Support the implementation of HS&E corrective actions.
3. Maintain the highest levels of housekeeping.
4. Ensure all work is carried out in line with company policy, procedures, and cGMP guidelines.
5. Correct and timely completion of all batch documentation.
6. Inspection of all manufactured items against agreed quality standards.
7. Ensure all IPC samples are taken and inspected in line with specification documents and SOIs.
8. Correct packaging and labeling of all products that meet agreed quality standards.
9. Respond to all machine alarms and take appropriate actions to maintain production.
10. Ensure the highest level of housekeeping and 5S is maintained in your area of responsibility.
11. Accurate cGMP-compliant reporting of all manufacturing activities using ERP and paperwork systems as defined in operational procedures and SOIs.
12. Conduct an effective and efficient shift handover.
13. Communicate issues to relevant departments for corrective action as required.
