This role is essential to supporting the recruitment efforts across multiple UK airport locations, ensuring that we continue to attract top talent to deliver our high standard of ground handling services.
You will be responsible for coordinating recruitment processes, liaising with hiring managers, and supporting candidates throughout the recruitment lifecycle.
The ideal candidate will be highly organised, possess excellent communication skills, and be comfortable traveling across the North of the UK to support recruitment activities.
Responsibilities
Recruitment Process Management: Assist with end-to-end recruitment, including job postings, CV screening, scheduling interviews, and candidate communication.
Hiring Manager Support: Work closely with hiring managers across various UK airports to understand their recruitment needs and ensure timely hiring.
Candidate Engagement: Ensure a positive candidate experience by providing clear communication and support throughout the recruitment process.
Travel: Regular travel to airports across the North of the UK.
Recruitment Event Attendance: Attend job fairs, interviews, and recruitment events as required.
Database Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date recruitment records and reports using applicant tracking systems (ATS).
Compliance: Ensure recruitment activities comply with employment laws and Swissport's policies.
Onboarding Support: Assist with onboarding new employees by coordinating paperwork, right-to-work checks, and induction processes.
Experience: Previous experience in recruitment coordination, HR, or similar administrative roles, preferably within the aviation or logistic sector.
Full UK Driving Licence: Must possess a full, valid driving licence and be willing to travel frequently to airport locations across the UK. The ideal candidate must be in possesion of their own vehicle.
Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to liaise effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
Organisational Skills: Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple recruitment processes simultaneously.
IT Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experienced in using recruitment software or applicant tracking systems (ATS).
Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing recruitment needs.
