As we scale into a 24/7 production environment, we’re looking for a seasoned and ambitious HR Manager to be the heartbeat of our manufacturing operation. Based on-site at our advanced additive manufacturing facility in Avonmouth, you will play a critical role in shaping our shift-based workforce strategy, embedding a strong culture, and ensuring operational readiness at every turn. This role offers the chance to influence at scale, make a lasting impact on people and process, and be part of a journey defined by innovation, agility and growth Transitioning to 24/7 Production : Lead the HR/People strategy for our shift into 24/7 production operations, partnering with leadership to forecast workforce needs, plan talent pipelines, and align staffing models with operational demands. Shift Pattern & Contract Management : Design and manage complex shift patterns that comply with employment laws and safety regulations while balancing operational efficiency. You’ll oversee the full scope of contract design, shift-based compensation, and equitable working practices. People Partnering & Employee Relations : Be the go-to advisor for managers and employees, resolving issues, managing grievances, and nurturing a workplace culture rooted in trust, clarity and resilience. You’ll guide leaders through sensitive cases and ensure robust communication throughout periods of change. Performance, Learning & Succession: Implement and manage performance systems tied to business KPI’s, while driving development programs that build shift-specific technical skills and support continuous improvement. Ensure succession plans are in place to protect our future. Culture, Engagement & Change Leadership: Drive engagement through cultural initiatives and support leadership through operational transitions. You’ll be a key culture ambassador, helping employees embrace new rhythms while promoting values that define who we are. Compliance & Workplace Safety: Ensure all HR actions meet UK employment law and safety regulations. Collaborate with Health and Safety teams to design training, implement protocols, and maintain a safe, compliant working environment for all. Recruitment & Onboarding: Lead talent efforts in collaboration with group TA Managers and Hiring Managers. Design and implement robust onboarding programs to quickly integrate new employees. What you will need Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
