An exciting position has become available to support our retail network to continue to grow the ancillary & insurance sales performance. This hybrid field-based role will see you responsible for driving sales across your dedicated remit of circa 12 regions; therefore, overnight stays will be required.
The day-to-day role will see you engaging with branch colleagues of all levels across the retail network, including regional sales managers across a large geographic area to increase sales performance.
Key Responsibilities
* Accountable for the sales performance for all ancillaries including travel insurance within your regions.
* Manage the end-to-end proposition including training, sales, and compliance within your region.
* Manage day-to-day relationships with branch colleagues to optimise customer and operational performance.
* Review KPI’s for ancillary and insurance, working collaboratively across your trading regions to ensure these are met.
* Work to influence stakeholders across your region to build buy-in for the proposition.
* Review branch processes to identify opportunities to improve efficiency and customer journey in relation to selling ancillaries.
* Present at regional managers meetings and ancillary roadshows where required.
* Prepare and present performance reports for your region.
* Document branch visits with clear SMART action plans shared with all stakeholders, allowing for follow-up and progress updates.
* Joint visits with RSM’s to enhance ancillary product knowledge.
* Regular trading meetings with Ancillary Business Development Manager.
* Willingness to participate in and deliver training appropriate to own development.
* Participate in ad-hoc duties or prepare ad-hoc information where required.
Technical Skills Required
* IT software packages including Microsoft Office and Outlook as well as in-house systems & reporting tools.
* Ability to understand, interpret and analyse data.
* Exceptional communication skills with all stakeholders.
Qualifications / Experience Required
* Previous experience in the travel industry in a sales environment.
* Strong relationship management skills.
* Experience of driving sales & marketing initiatives.
* Product and supplier system knowledge required.
* Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
