We are supporting them to look for a passionate and skilled Mathematics Teacher to join their team. Role Overview: We are seeking a candidate with experience or a keen interest in working with children facing severe Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) issues and behavioural difficulties. This experience can come from either mainstream education or special/PRU school environments. Mathematics is a core component of their curriculum, taught across the entire school. They are looking for a qualified teacher who can inspire and engage students in various mathematical disciplines and who has experience teaching Mathematics up to GCSE level. This role offers the chance to contribute significantly to the development and growth of the subject within the school. Key Responsibilities: Deliver engaging Maths lessons, adhering to the school's schemes of work. Manage examination entries in collaboration with the Examinations Officer and Head of School. Ensure the progress of all pupils in the subject area. Plan, prepare, and teach lessons that cater to diverse needs within the classroom. Inspire and motivate students with creative and dynamic teaching methods. Maintain classroom discipline using effective behaviour management strategies. Prepare and mark students' work, fostering positive development. Meet assessment and recording requirements for pupil development. Provide regular feedback to parents and carers on pupil progress. The ethos emphasises close collaboration with both specialist and mainstream schools, external agencies with expertise in their students' needs, and the private, voluntary, and charity sectors within their community.
