Are you a Housing Officer with a passion for Specialist Housing or Supported Living?
We have an opportunity for a Housing Officer to join our team at our retirement community at the Rose Garden, Hereford. This part-time role works 18 hours per week, typically between 9 to 5 on weekdays, with no weekend working. While based at the Rose Garden site, you may also be required to travel to other Platform offices as requested.
As a Housing Officer, you will provide a housing and tenancy management service to maximize tenancy sustainment. You will be a regular and flexible contact for residents, offering practical and preventative support and advice, as well as signposting to specialist care and support services to enhance wellbeing and social interaction.
Your responsibilities will include effective building management, property inspections, risk assessments, health and safety monitoring, and compliance checks. Responding to and investigating reported breaches of tenancy/leasehold agreements will be a key part of your role.

* You will be customer-focused and may have experience working with customers to solve complex issues.
* An awareness of working with vulnerable adults is desirable.
* Great interpersonal skills and experience communicating with people from diverse backgrounds.
* Keen to deliver high standards with an ability to improve services.
* Confidence using digital devices, ICT software, and systems.
* A driving license and use of your own vehicle will be required due to travel to offices and other facilities.
* An Enhanced DBS check is also required for this role.
