Job Title: Drinks Commercial Analyst
Are you passionate about data and drinks? We are looking for a curious, detail-obsessed Drinks Analyst who thrives on turning data into insight, and insight into action.
In this role, you will dive deep into current drinks trends, product performance, internal data analysis, and guest behaviour to help shape Whitbread’s drinks strategy as we embark on the journey of our accelerated growth plan.
Salary: £40,000 - £47,000
Location: Whitbread Court – Hybrid minimum three days per week.

What you’ll do:
You will be responsible for delivering, analysing, and validating an effective drinks pricing and promotional strategy for both hotel and restaurants, optimising sales and profit performance whilst maintaining guest value for money scores and delivering a reason to visit.
Your responsibilities will include:
1. Analysing current sales, market, guest data, and competitors to uncover trends, performance drivers, and growth opportunities for drinks.
2. Developing a robust pricing strategy that offers value for guests but maintains profitable growth for the business.
3. Building dashboards and reports that support our commercial and strategic decision-making.
4. Working with multiple teams including commercial, finance, marketing, product development, and our implementation team to deliver combined Food & Drinks strategies.
5. Tracking the success of campaigns, product launches, and promotions using KPIs and ROI metrics.
6. Staying on top of industry trends and emerging innovation within the drinks industry.
What we need:
1. A strong understanding and interpretation of data in order to make informed decisions.
2. Strong analysis skills with experience in pricing, range, or menu architecture.
3. The ability to transform complex and ambiguous data into clear, compelling insights and recommendations.
4. Strong stakeholder management skills, able to engage with senior-level stakeholders.
5. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
6. Ideally, knowledge of the drinks industry.
