Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field; three years of experience in the information technology field; or an equivalent combination of training and experience. Must have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing. Considerable skill and experience developing programs to access data utilizing tools such as SQL and PowerBI. Ability to perform research and statistical analysis necessary to maintain valuation models used in computer assisted mass appraisal (CAMA) system. Prior experience developing valuation models is required and specific knowledge of Tyler Technologies Enterprise Assessment and Tax (formerly iasWorld) is preferred. Experience with the following is preferred, ESRI-based GIS software and its applications, custom report writing and system administration. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of the mass appraisal process and CAMA systems and also have a technical background developing models in CAMA systems or System Administrator experience with CAMA systems. Pre-employment drug testing, FBI criminal background check and education/degree verification required.
Duties
Develops programs to access data used by department staff for daily work functions, quality control and record maintenance. Compiles periodic reports for staff, supervisors and director by using advanced reporting and querying techniques. Assists in developing valuation models to be used in the CAMA system. Develops new programs that will assist the staff in the real estate valuation process and increase efficiency. Troubleshoots system hardware, software and operator problems. Advises the department director and other management staff on technical matters related to the management of information resources. Assists in development of manuals and procedural instructions for applications used by department personnel and in instructing office personnel in the use of a computer assisted mass appraisal system. Creates maps using ArcGIS and performing analysis within ArcGIS. Performs other work as required.

Shift
Monday - Friday; 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.; hybrid work schedule available for remote working 3 days/week and 2 days in office.
