Job Summary
We have an excellent opportunity for a Portfolio Management Assistant to join our Birmingham office on a permanent basis. The team takes responsibility for looking after the composition and construction of all client portfolios, including stock selection and asset allocation. The right candidate will be professional and enthusiastic, with a willingness to learn and develop.
What will you do?
* Utilise your understanding of portfolio management to build your knowledge base.
* Support the Portfolio and Investment Managers in the production of robust portfolio proposals, reviews and associated client administration.
* Execute trades as instructed by Portfolio/Investment Managers where appropriate.
* Work closely with the Managers to collate and verify the accuracy of information.
* Support Investment and Portfolio Managers to track funds against clients’ objectives and risk profile.
* Assist in preparation of review and new client meetings.
* Support senior team members as required to contribute to completion of tasks in a timely manner and to a high standard for the team.

Must-have
* An understanding of portfolio management.
* Maintains up to date knowledge of the market and regulation changes through Continuous Professional Development (CPD).
* Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.
