We are looking for a skilled and patient Visual Impairment Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated team at Clacton Coastal Academy.
About the role:
* You will provide specialist teaching and support to a pupil with a vision impairment, who accesses the curriculum through Braille.
* You'll work closely with the class teacher and SENDCo to adapt teaching materials and create individual learning programmes.
* You'll help the pupil develop essential skills in Braille, technology, and independent learning.

* You're passionate about inclusive education and ensuring every child can thrive.
* You have experience working with learners, ideally those with special educational needs.
* You're a skilled communicator who can build strong relationships with pupils, colleagues, and parents.
* You're patient, proactive, and committed to helping the pupil achieve their full potential
