A leading marine company is looking for an experienced Account Manager to join their dynamic sales team. This fast-paced and varied role offers the chance to make a real impact across both aftermarket and OEM sectors, helping customers find the best solutions for their needs.
As part of the sales team, you will be responsible for managing your own accounts and achieving sales targets. You’ll need to build strong relationships with customers, understand their business needs, and provide tailored solutions. This role offers a great balance of office-based and field-based work, with an approximate 50/50 split between the two.
This position also offers the opportunity to attend UK boat shows, trade events, and end-user gatherings—making strong interpersonal skills and a confident, professional manner crucial. You will be a key point of contact for customers, both in person and over the phone.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage and grow a portfolio of accounts, ensuring strong client relationships.
2. Achieve sales targets by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
3. Provide tailored solutions by understanding customers’ needs and business operations.
4. Promote and sell both in-house marine products and a range of distributed brands.
5. Represent the company at UK boat shows, trade events, and customer gatherings.
6. Split time between office-based work and travel (approximately 50/50).
