In this role, you'll be responsible for overseeing business development and leading ICA engineering across transformational programmes that support critical UK infrastructure. This role is based in the Bristol office, with opportunities for flexible and remote working. Experience -Chartered Electrical/Instrumentation Engineer. -Experience in owning design delivery, including multidisciplinary design. - Knowledge in ICA design (instrumentation, PLC and SCADA systems), motor control systems, system architecture, fieldbus/communication networks, P&ID’s, ATEX installation practice, functional safety, development of control specifications (URS/FDS), schedules and system requirements within process/industrial environment. - Knowledge on current UK design standards, working practices and national guidance. Job Responsibilities Own and direct teams who undertake technical design work following relevant design standards and codes, and to high-quality levels. Defining briefs, scopes of work, and input into bid proposals. Successfully manage time and budgets to key project milestones and programmes. Work closely with teams in the UK and overseas to deliver integrated design solutions. Setting quality assurance standards in design. Grow, develop and manage ICA engineering capability within the practice.
