Occupational Therapist - relocate to Port McNeill, BC
Island Health is hiring a part-time Community Occupational Therapist in Port McNeill, BC.
Working without general supervision under the administrative direction of the Manager and as part of the multi-disciplinary health care team delivering care in the community setting, the Community Occupational Therapist provides occupational therapy services to referred clients, provides consultation for caregivers, and educates clients, caregivers, staff and the community on rehabilitation interventions.
To join our team, you will have
* Graduation from a recognized university program in Occupational Therapy.
* Current practicing registration with the College of Occupational Therapists of British Columbia (or eligibility).
* Eligible for membership with the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists (CAOT).
* Minimum of two years post-graduate experience in Occupational Therapy (or equivalent).
* Community experience is preferred.
* Valid BC driver's license.
