Providing high-level corporate, administrative and secretarial services to the Associate Director of Nursing. Communicating at a senior level with organisations and individuals from outside of the Health Board.
Main duties of the job
1. To have an up to date knowledge and understanding of the issues and responsibilities associated with the role of the Associate Director of Nursing, and a basic knowledge of current issues affecting the NHS, in order to assist in prioritising their workload/daily activities to ensure deadlines are met.
2. First point of contact for the Associate Director of Nursing by telephone, e-mail, and correspondence, or for their visitors or members of the public making contact with them. Providing advice on a wide range of matters related to the work of the Associate Director of Nursing and team, resolving problems or referring them to the most appropriate person as necessary.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
