Essential Duties And Responsibilities Working full-time from our Cramlington facility, The Process engineer will be responsible for the identification, planning, implementation, and documentation of new processes and equipment. Key Responsibilities Driving continuous improvement initiatives. Ensuring compliance with safety standards, improving manual and automated processes, and establishing and upholding performance metrics. Assisting in training initiatives and overseeing projects for implementing new equipment and processes. Managing capital expenditure requests and creating designs for equipment and tools. Implementing improvements to plant/buildings/equipment. Possesses effective oral and written communication skills. Assists with client, customer, or official contacts and communication pertaining to specific assignments or meetings. Requirements And Preferred Skills 2-4 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment in a similar role. Typically requires a college or university degree or the equivalent work experience that provides exposure to fundamental theories, principles and concepts Certification as a Greenbelt in Six Sigma or an equivalent continuous improvement qualification. A Higher National Certificate (HNC) or Diploma (HND) in an engineering field, preferably in chemical engineering, process engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related discipline. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential for this role. Proficiency in generating, reading, and understanding technical drawings using Autodesk Inventor 3D CAD software or a comparable program. Why Gates?
