Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate English Teacher to join our team in Cambridge. As an English Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality English lessons to inspire and engage students. You will play a key role in nurturing a positive learning environment that encourages student growth and curiosity.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver engaging English language lessons tailored to various learning styles
* Develop and implement interactive teaching materials to foster an engaging classroom experience
* Regularly assess students’ progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development
* Foster an inclusive classroom environment that respects and values diversity
* Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance and enrich the curriculum
Requirements:
* Education: Bachelor’s degree in English or a related field
* Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Experience: Demonstrable experience in teaching English
* Skills:
o Strong command of English language principles
o Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
o Adaptability to meet the needs of diverse learners
o Strong organisational and time management skills
* Preferred Qualifications:
* Postgraduate qualification in Education
* Experience in teaching English as a second language
Working Conditions:
This role involves full-time work within a school setting, with interaction with students and colleagues daily. While standard hours apply, occasional additional hours for planning, assessments, and participation in extracurricular activities or school events may be required.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
