Meridian Business Support are delighted to be working with one of the UK's leading independent accident repair groups to recruit for a Bodyshop Manager in Luton.
Our client has 30+ sites throughout the UK and has partnered with most major insurance companies and vehicle manufacturers to ensure quality and care are at the forefront.
The role of a Bodyshop Manager is to control all the activities within the Bodyshop ensuring that all work is undertaken in a timely and correct manner thereby always ensuring customer care/satisfaction. To carry out estimates as specified by insurers/customers ensuring that the vehicle repair can be carried out efficiently.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for managing an on-site team of experts, including paint sprayers, panel beaters, MET technicians, estimators, and all administrative staff. You must have experience with managing a team and be driven by results.
2. Understand the business needs, the accounts, reports, and KPI's, effectively manage site resources and costs in order to optimize capability and profitability and actively and efficiently manage work provider and supplier relationships.
3. Deal with any customer issues and must have experience with managing complaints.
4. Prior experience as a Bodyshop Site Manager, with expertise in health and safety protocols, ensuring these measures are consistently adhered to.
5. Responsible for planning your workload effectively to ensure vehicles are ready to agreed timescales; working skillfully and safely under pressure, and carrying out work in accordance with manufacturers specification.
6. Lead and work as part of a team as well as on your own initiative with minimal supervision, be flexible in your approach and continually work to high standards with customer satisfaction in mind.
The successful candidate would preferably have 3 years experience in a similar role.
Pay and Benefits:
1. From £55,000 to £60,000 dependent on experience and qualifications.
2. Hours are 8am - 5pm Monday - Friday, 30-minute lunch break.
