At General Mills, we offer an exciting opportunity to shape the future of some of the world's most beloved brands as a Consumer Insights Manager for our snacks portfolio, including Europe's favorite cereal bar brand, Nature Valley.
In this role, you will be a key member of the snacks Brand Development Team (BDT), partnering with Brand Leaders, Marketers, and Product Developers. You will bring deep insight expertise and strategic clarity to key business questions, collaborating with local market teams, cross-functional stakeholders, and agencies to build trust, alignment, and confidence. You will work with senior leaders to distill insights with clarity and purpose, driving brand growth.
Your responsibilities include:
* Deep diving into the snacks portfolio to uncover insights that will drive brand building and innovation strategies for Nature Valley and Fibre One.
* Spearheading the development of innovative learning plans to enhance product, packaging, and pricing strategies.
* Utilizing our demand spaces framework to identify growth opportunities.
* Shaping the future of our flagship brands through cutting-edge brand strategies.
* Collaborating with Brand Experience teams to refine communication and brand experience.
* Harnessing analytics to connect market data, consumer insights, and secondary data into actionable strategies.
* Embracing agile learning tools to accelerate decision-making and innovation.
Qualifications:
* At least 8 years of CMI experience, preferably with an FMCG manufacturer, with a strong understanding of brand building and innovation research methodologies.
* Experience working in cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment.
* Ability to thrive in an agile, fast-paced team, providing pragmatic insights.
* High intellectual curiosity.
* Ability to synthesize multiple data sources into compelling growth strategies.
* Strong storytelling skills to motivate action through fact-based, inspirational communication.
* Confident and clear communicator with executive leaders.
